WILD FOOD AND FUNGAL FORAYS 2010
Do you know which wild mushrooms are edible and good to eat?
Do you know which ones are poisonous?
If the answers to these questions are no, then read on……
The Wild Food Larder has vast experience both in the field and in the kitchen when it comes to identifying, picking and cooking of hundreds of edible species of wild mushrooms.
A basic foray is priced at £40/person to include
1. A three hour walk through local woodlands and private land on which i have sole permission to run organised events from.
2. With the help of my field kitchen i shall demonstrate a number of different cooking techniques and create a taster menu for all to try using all the varieties of wild fungi and when available i will provide some form of wild game.
3. Informative and detailed handouts of fungi will be available and literature suggestions on the subject will be recommended.

This year we shall be running a few cycling forays along a number of some of Bristol’s cycle paths. Many of our autumn fungal forays will be held as cycling forays in some of most spectacular woodlands. If this reads as something you and your friends would love to do then please mail me to arrange a morning’s foray specific to your needs.
Corporate Forays are provided for as team building days or just pure fun. Lunch cooked by our Michelin star chef is part of the service, and will be served outside wherever possible we are.
